Known for her ability to navigate complex systems while staying rooted in community truth, Dr. Liggins brings together vision and execution to move people, organizations, and movements forward.
Her professional journey includes leading executive-level initiatives with C-suite leaders, serving as a senior project manager for multi-million dollar public health and equity efforts with UCLA and the CDC, and shaping post-conviction justice reform at the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office. She is also a former leadership development expert at Planned Parenthood, where she designed and led programs to empower new and emerging leaders across the organization.
Whether she’s coaching a rising executive, launching community programs through her nonprofit XIDUS, or helping young adults master real-world skills through her Adulting 101 series, Dr. Lysa centers liberation, excellence, and purpose in all she does.
She is the founder of:
Leaders GROW Leaders, a consultancy transforming leadership on the corporate level.
Adulting 101, offering coaching support from College to Career,
XIDUS, a nonprofit organization reimagining justice, healing, and liberation.
Dr. Liggins holds two doctorates - an Educational Doctorate (EdD) in Organizational Leadership and a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Global Leadership and Change, both from Pepperdine University.
She is recognized for her practical approach to complex issues, her direct communication style, and her deep care for the people and communities she serves.
